Day 1
Zagreb, Croatia
Your journey begins in the capital city of Zagreb, where your introduction to Croatia will start in the lively and livable city that is perfect for wandering.
From the airport, you’ll receive a private transfer to your accommodation. Relax and enjoy the rest of your evening as you look forward to the journey ahead.
Day 2
Zagreb, Croatia
This morning, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a private guided walking tour of Zagreb. Founded in the Middle Ages, Zagreb began life as two separate entities. Use the loveliest walking street to climb up to Zagreb’s Upper Town through the medieval Stone Gate. See the Parliament and the Government, as well the famous, colored roof of St. Mark’s Church, the baroque St. Catherine’s Church, and the medieval Lotrščak Tower.
Day 3
Istrian Peninsula, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel, pick up your rental car or meet your private transfer and drive to Buje on the Istrian Peninsula. This will be about a three-hour drive through the beautiful countryside to the northwesternmost point of Croatia.
Day 4
Istrian Peninsula, Croatia
This morning, you will drive or take a private transfer to Buzet where you will be welcomed by a local expert guide and his trained dogs to enjoy a private truffle hunt adventure! The forest is only a 5-minute walk from your guide’s home, and everyone will be able to feel and smell the newly found underground treasures. Upon returning to the house, you will prepare a delicious truffles meal paired with a wine tasting.
Day 5
Istrian Peninsula, Croatia
Today you will drive or take a private transfer for a day trip to Rovinj and Pula. Rovinj, a town that feels more Italian than Croatian, is full of twisting city streets, a bustling and photogenic harbor, and some of the best seafood restaurants in the country- a town you just can’t miss. You will receive a private tour of Rovinj in the morning before heading to Pula for lunch and a guided visit. As the largest town in Istria, Pula also has some of the best beaches alongside beautiful examples of Roman architecture. When you have had your fill, return to your hotel for your final evening on the Istrian Peninsula.
Day 6
Plitvice National Park, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive or receive a private transfer to Plitvice National Park, Croatia’s largest national park.
Once you have checked into your accommodation, a guide will meet you for an afternoon hiking tour of the Park. Legend says that this UNESCO site, known as the “Falling Lakes”, were created by the fallen tears of the “Black Queen”, who took pity on the people and animals during a long drought.
Days 7
Split, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive or receive a private transfer to the bustling coastal city of Split.
Once you have turned in your rental car and checked into your accommodation, your private guide will meet you for a walking tour of Croatia’s second-largest city. Originally the palatial, walled summer home of the Emperor Diocletian, Split spent 1000 years as a safe haven for refugees, and thousands of people still live and work within the ancient walls. Enjoy one of the best-preserved Roman royal residences in the world.
Days 8
Split, Croatia
Today you will receive a private transfer to the 13th century palace, home of a top Croatia chef! Much more than a cooking class, this is about learning how to live like a local in an historic town. From gathering the ingredients at the local markets to eating the delicious meal you make with the Chef, this is a “can’t miss” experience!
Day 9
Brač, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and receive a private motorboat transfer to the island of Brač.
Upon checking into your Brač accommodation, spend the remainder of the day at the beautiful beach or hotel pool surrounded by palms and flowering trees.
Day 10
Brač, Croatia
Today, your private guide and chauffeur will take you on a Brač Island discovery tour! Walk the narrow trail through thick pine woods to a natural water reserve, and enjoy the view from the top of Vidova Gora, the highest peak of the Adriatic islands.
After the hike, you will transfer to the olive oil museum in Skrip village. You will taste some exceptional olive oils and enjoy an exquisite lunch before returning to your hotel to spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 11
Brač, Croatia
After breakfast, meet your chauffeur for a private transfer to the marina where you will take a private motorboat to tour Hvar Island and the Pakleni Archipelago. Hvar is blessed with 2,724 hours of sunshine every year and is the only Croatian island listed among the top 10 islands in the world. The Pakleni Archipelago is right off the southwest coast of Hvar, directly opposite the entrance to Hvar Town. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear bays and return to Split in the late afternoon.
Day 12
Dubrovnik, Croatia
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll enjoy a private motorboat transfer back to Split. From Split, you will have a private transfer to Dubrovnik. Enjoy the views on this coastal drive through the thinnest part of Croatia.
Day 13
Dubrovnik, Croatia
This morning, your local guide will take you for a pleasant walking tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. This UNESCO World Heritage site was described by George Bernard Shaw as “paradise on Earth”. The curtain of towering walls surrounds a tiny concentration of marble streets and baroque buildings exuding a pearly light in the Adriatic sun. The white stone brilliance of the Placa, smoothed by centuries of wear as the main pedestrian thoroughfare, is a wonderful mélange of cafés and bookstores with a cluster of important monuments at either end. Enjoy churches, monasteries, and museums with finely carved stone facades recalling an eventful, illustrious history and a vibrant artistic tradition.
Day 14
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Spend your last day with renowned a Croatian winemaker and embark on a private wine tour of the Pelješac Peninsula! Enjoy a trio of wine tastings at the region’s most respected wine cellars, with visits to vineyards on the steep slopes of the magnificent peninsula. At the last spectacular vineyard, enjoy a superb traditional Croatian lunch accompanied by the final wines of this tour.

Departure
After a final meal at your hotel, you will be transferred to the Dubrovnik Airport for your return flight home.
