Day 1 – Arrive & Settle In

Arrive in Split, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel right in the heart of the city, within a short walk of Diocletian’s Palace. Enjoy the rest of the day discovering Split—great shopping, historic architecture, and sun-soaked beaches dot the coast. Head to the forested hillsides of Park Marjan for a scenic walk or a swim.

Day 2 – Walking & Biking Tour of Split

After breakfast, join your local guide for a private walking tour of Split’s city center. With historic monuments, museums, and one of the best-preserved Roman fortresses in the world—Diocletian’s Palace—this 1700-year-old seaport is a thrilling blend of ancient and modern. After lunch, take off on a guided hiking and biking tour through the coastal mountains, Cetina River canyon, and along Peruca Lake. Enjoy an evening picnic dinner in the hills before returning to the city.

Day 3 – Hvar Archipelago

Check out of your hotel and head to the marina for a private motor boat transfer to the island of Hvar, touring the Hvar Archipelago on your way. Spend the morning at sea, swimming and snorkeling, and then land in Hvar Town and settle into your hotel. Relax in style in Hvar Town, which boasts a range of cultural sites, boutique shops, and top-notch restaurants along the promenade.

Day 4 – Hiking on Hvar

This morning, join your island guide for a full-day hiking tour of Hvar. Passing through vineyards, lavender fields, and olive groves, you’ll stop to visit the villages of Velo Grablje and Milna. If you are up for a challenging hike along a rugged trail, you can climb Hvar’s highest peak, Sveti Nikola, which offers incredible views over the Adriatic and nearby islands.

Day 5 – Hvar Sea Kayaking Adventure

Today, take to the sea for a half-day kayaking tour exploring the Pakleni Islands off the southwest coast of Hvar. Paddle between the rocky coves and cliffs of these 14 islets, pulling up onto pebbled beaches to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic. Stop in for a delicious seafood lunch at an island restaurant before heading back to Hvar Town.

Day 6 – Drive to Dubrovnik & Lunch with Locals

Meet your driver to transfer back to the mainland on the Sućuraj ferry harbor. Driving south along the coast, you will stop in the small town of Trsteno, just to the north of Dubrovnik, famous for its arboretum and cinematic setting—literally the setting for parts of the Game of Thrones series. Visit the 15th-century summer residence of the Gučetić or Gozze family—nobles from the maritime Republic of Ragusa—stroll through the arboretum, and then enjoy a traditional meal with a local family before continuing to Dubrovnik for the night.

Day 7 – Dubrovnik Old Town & Hiking Excursion

After breakfast, meet your guide for a private walking tour of Dubrovnik’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town and its ancient city walls. Visit churches, monasteries, museums, and enjoy the bustle of the main pedestrian thoroughfare, Placa, which is lined with cafés and shops. In the afternoon, travel to the scenic Konavle region for a hiking tour through orchards, vineyards, and across the Ljuta and Konavočica rivers. Enjoy a traditional dinner in this culturally rich valley before traveling back to Dubrovnik.

Day 8 – Hiking in Montenegro

Get an early start this morning and travel south to Kotor, Montenegro for a full day of hiking above the Bay of Kotor along the Vrmac Ridge. Following stone pathways dating to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, you will trek through pine forests and along the top of the peninsula with panoramic views over Kotor and Tivat bays. After the hike, drive to the Lustica peninsula to tour a 400-year-old family-run olive grove and mill, where you will enjoy an olive oil tasting paired with local wine, cheese, and meat. Return to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon.

Day 9 – Departure

After breakfast, meet your driver for your private transfer to the Dubrovnik Airport for your international flight home.
